51exports Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 21, 2026
51exports is operated by Shadstone Limited. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when merchants use 51exports, including the 51exports Catalog Sync app for Shopify.
Information We Collect
We collect information needed to provide catalog management, product import, feed, export, and integration services. This may include:
- Account information such as name, email address, user ID, and authentication details.
- Catalog information such as product titles, SKUs, descriptions, prices, inventory quantities, product images, variants, metadata, and feed settings.
- Shopify connection information such as store domain, granted app scopes, OAuth access tokens, connection status, product IDs, variant IDs, and sync/import history.
- Usage and technical information such as IP address, browser type, timestamps, logs, errors, and actions taken inside the service.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Authenticate users and provide access to 51exports.
- Connect to Shopify when authorized by a merchant.
- Preview and import Shopify product catalog data into 51exports catalogs.
- Generate product feeds, exports, and integration outputs requested by merchants.
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, and improve reliability.
- Communicate service, support, security, and account-related information.
Shopify Data
51exports Catalog Sync currently uses Shopify data for catalog sync/import purposes. Shopify remains the merchant's live storefront and checkout. The app does not process Shopify payments, create Shopify orders, or modify Shopify checkout data.
When a merchant connects Shopify, 51exports stores the access token required to call Shopify APIs authorized by that merchant. We use this token only to provide the connected catalog sync functionality and related support.
Sharing Information
We do not sell merchant data. We may share information with service providers that help us operate 51exports, such as hosting, storage, database, analytics, security, and support providers. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights, or to prevent fraud or abuse.
Data Retention
We retain account, catalog, Shopify connection, import, and log data for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. Merchants may disconnect Shopify or request deletion of applicable data by contacting us.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. No internet service is completely secure, but we work to limit access to data and protect sensitive credentials.
Merchant Controls
Merchants can manage catalog access, disconnect Shopify, and control which products are imported into 51exports. Connecting Shopify does not automatically import products; merchants choose when to import products into a selected catalog.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict use of personal information. To make a request, contact us using the email below.
Changes To This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new last updated date.
